Ale Convert — Privacy Policy

Ale Convert is developed by Mustafa Barbari, trading as Qoluster (“we”, “us”, “our”). It is designed to work entirely on your device — we built it so your files never have to leave your iPhone or iPad.

The short version

We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information or any of the content you process. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers.

On-device processing

Every operation — resizing, converting, editing, OCR, scanning, PDF tools — runs locally using Apple frameworks on your device. Your photos, PDFs, and other files are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

Photos and camera

• Images you edit are chosen by you through the system photo picker. The app is granted access only to the items you pick.
• Saving a result uses add-only photo permission, solely to write your output back to your library.
• The camera is used only for the document scanner and the QR/barcode reader. Frames are processed on-device and are not recorded or transmitted.

Purchases

Ale Convert Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the transaction and manages your subscription; we never receive or store your payment details. Your purchase status is kept on-device and validated with the App Store.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, location, contacts, or analytics. The app makes no network calls to our servers, because we operate no servers.

Data retention and deletion

Because everything is local, any data the app created lives only on your device. Deleting the app removes it. Files you saved to Photos or Files remain where you saved them until you remove them.

Children's privacy

Ale Convert does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version here.
